Jonathan Leahy

Jonathan Leahy is a film and television music supervisor best known for his work on the HBO series Girls and Ryan Coogler’s debut feature film Fruitvale Station.  His credits as music coordinator at Aperture Music also include Community, New Girl, Togetherness, Love, Neighbors, Trainwreck and the upcoming AMC series Preacher, based on the cult comic.

Leahy is also an award-winning composer, scoring Daniel Stamm’s A Necessary Death and providing theme songs for The Millers (CBS) and Mountain Movers (National Geographic).  Over the years he has also recorded and mixed live performances from an impressive list of artists including Rick Ross and Alanis Morissette.  He continues to record, mix and produce, running a private studio in Hollywood, CA.
